Tile & Grout
Grout lines were once a nightmare to clean with the only option to re-grout. America's Best Cleaning and Restorations' special procedures, products and equipment can restore and beautify the tile and grout in your home!
Grout is porous, which means it soaks in stains very easily and is a common place for mold and mildew to grow. Even if you are thoroughly cleaning your counter tops or getting down on your hands and knees scrubbing your tile floors once a month, chances are you have contaminant build up and possible harmful bacteria growing in your grout lines. Surface cleaning can make your tiles look fresh, but a professional deep down clean, performed by our technicians, will complete the job, making your tile and grout bacteria-free and shine like new!
Tile and Grout Cleaning Process
The first step to beautifying your tile and grout is to remove the embedded grout stains using a degreaser solution. Some residential homes and restaurants may require this pre-treatment process if the tile and grout lines are heavily soiled.
The second step is to hand-scrub the grout lines with a brush or a machine with brush attachments. This will agitate the deep-down dirt and stains allowing them to be cleaned off.
Once the tile and grout lines are agitated thoroughly, the degreaser is rinse/extracted and a tile cleaning solution is applied. After the tile cleaning solution is applied, it will dwell for approximately 10-20 minutes. The dwell time may vary depending on how soiled the tile and grout may be.
The solution is then brushed onto your tile and grout again, by hand or machine. Once the cleaning solution is agitated, it is then rinse/extracted exposing clean tile and grout.
The optional last step is to protect your tile and grout by sealing it with a professional solution. This will keep your flooring or counter tops contaminant-free and looking beautiful for years to come.
America's Best Post Care Recommendations:
Make sure to minimize walking on any flooring or using counter tops that have been cleaned and sealed for at least 24 hours. This will allow adequate time for the product to properly set in.
